Q: Please tell us a little bit of who you are & what you do?
A: Been a futures trader since 2004. Started trading bond futures for the majority of my career and since 2019 I switched into trading US markets mainly the S&P futures.
Q: What is your relationship with The Trading Pit?
A: As a partner. We pretty much help people pass the challenge & support thereafter. It’s a mutual benefit
Q: What makes TTP different?
A: Go & have a look at other competitors. Ambiguous rules & let us be honest. They skim people out from the evaluation programs and resets. I do not think that it is in their best interest for people to pass. And the biggest difference is that they all put you up for sim trading again even if you pass the challenge. With TTP you pass the evaluation, you become parter of The Trading Pit. Moreover, we support people throughout the process and continue to guide them once they go live. They win we win as simple as that.
Q: So what is Prop Trading & how do you think TTP is doing it differently from other prop firms?
A: Prop trading means essentially that you trade with the firm’s money. TTP is comprised from real traders that are still active in the market day in & out. It’s a team, more in a sense of a family, where we all help each other bring out the best in us. Each trader is assigned to the market with more expertise & tries to guide the newcomers on daily basis throughout the trading session.
Q: For people who are getting to know TTP just by reading this post, what do you have to say to help me them understand what we do?
A: We understand the difficulties of trading. If you want to succeed into this business you have to be honest with yourself & consequently honest with others. You can try to make it look easy but numbers do not lie. There is no one to blame but yourself. No matter how cruel & difficult it sounds we train people in the job to cope with ever changing environment and help them find the real trader inside them. We save people a massive amount of time by trading with us at the same time so they can see how a professional manages every trading situation. Actions speak louder than words.
